As great as California may be for both business and life-in-general, there comes a time when ya just gotta get away.

Two of my favorite places are crabbing on the Oregon Coast, and "research" for oil painting up at Lake Tahoe.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, much of the family is still up there in the rain.
